Loading...There is a new look on the great lawn at St. James’ Episcopal Church in Pewee Valley.
Austin Hanna, son of Debbie and Rodney Hanna of La Grange, has completed an ambitious Eagle Scout project.
Under Austin’s direction and leadership, six “Prayer Posts” with selected scriptures have been installed along the sidewalk of the St. James property, close to and parallel to LaGrange Road.
This project is truly a mission of evangelism to all those who walk, jog, or run that route in Pewee Valley. A sample scripture on one of the posts is from Psalm 46:10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;…”
Father Jim Trimble, pastor at St. James’ said that ’this is a wonderful idea for meditation and reflection for ALL people in our community.”
