Do you love music? Want to be involved, but can’t carry a tune in a bucket? A voice only a mother could love? Here are some ways in which you can get involved, without being in the Choir.
♫ Play a musical instrument. Anything that makes noise. Try me!
♫ Get involved in fundraising: coordinate part or all of a fundraising event, help with event planning or tasks, share ideas, find ways to be a champion for Music at St. James’ Church.
♫ Play handbells – all ages and ability levels welcome!
♫ Help with the music library: organizing, filing, catalog, maintenance.
♫ Love to write? Interested in learning about music – composers, musical instruments, history, etc.? Contact me about contributing to our blog!
♫ Of course, ALL are welcome in the Choir, too! You don’t have to read music or sing solos; just show up on Sundays at 9:00 a.m., and join our little family!
We all have special gifts and talents, and if all of us had the same talents, the world would be pretty boring! If you have a desire to support Music at St. James’ Church with your time and/or talent (musical or not), YOU are welcome here! Contact me for more information.
