Loading...This time last month, we embarked on what we're calling Phase I of a larger initiative to complete much-needed repairs and updates to our pipe organ. The goal of this initial effort was to replace defective, failing pipe valves, and we are happy to report that we have met that goal, and at $4,000 under budget!
The overall sound of the organ is not noticeably affected by this work, but the reliability of each stop makes the organ more flexible and consistent. This article includes details about the work completed as well as an overview of what's left to be done.
