Loading...This Advent season isn’t just a time of patiently waiting the days until we celebrate the coming of Jesus in a manger in Bethlehem
God fills this Advent season with days that we should spend actively looking for, and listening for the hope planted within each of us. We do that by knowing that we can’t bring in God’s Kingdom by ourselves.
Our job in Advent, during this time of actively seeking is to search for the spark of Jesus in other people, to break down barriers that separate us from others, and looking for hope when people say there isn’t any.
Jesus imagined that hope with the apostles on the Mount of Olives. Jesus imagines that hope with us today, as we actively seek the Kingdom of God that is coming, and that is already here.
