Yes, the Bible IS the Sacred Word of God and contains all things necessary for salvation, but it will always take second chair to the Eternal Word, the Word made flesh, Jesus. It's his breakdown of Judaic Law into 2 commandments - Love God. Love your neighbor - that is the basis of the faith, the Church, and the way we live our lives. If we're not doing that, let us strive continually to carry it out, always expanding our minds and hearts, not digging feet into the sand and hindering the work of the Holy Spirit.
