After meeting with staff, vestry, deanery clergy and Diocesan clergy with Bishop White I am not scheduling a date to gather in person yet. I am however making preparations for when that day comes. .
Tasked with a long list of requirements and unforeseen expenses your leadership is navigating priorities, the first of which is safety. Let me give you one example: Anytime a group uses the building for any purpose we are required to provide a COVID level cleaning which increases expenses and requires more time than an in-house wipe down. Managing this one component (among the many others) is not achievable at this time.
I welcome feedback. Please contact me. Thanks to so many who have reached out with concerns and encouragements. When I listen to your words I hear faithful witnesses to the trustworthiness of God. Every minute of every day my thoughts are of you and my prayers are with you. I make every effort to maintain my health and well-being and ask you to do the same.
Your leadership is daily examining how to honor safety and be responsible with the resources entrusted to our community. Thanks to everyone who has paid their pledge. Keep giving!
